Commandry is designed around local storage and direct communication between your Apple device and your paired Mac.
What Commandry stores
Commandry stores your decks, settings, pairing credentials, and cached previews on your devices. The Mac agent stores its pairing token and model files in your macOS user account. Commandry does not require a Commandry account.
Local network communication
The iPhone or iPad app sends action requests to the Mac agent over your local network. Requests use a pairing token. Commandry does not route these local requests through a Commandry cloud service.
Subscriptions
Apple processes Commandry Pro purchases. Commandry receives product, transaction, expiration, revocation, and introductory-offer status from StoreKit. Commandry does not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide aggregate subscription and sales reports through App Store Connect.
AI and external tools
Commandry can run its bundled model on your Mac. If you choose an installed command-line provider, Commandry sends the request to that provider under its own terms. The app shows the selected provider before use.
Web research is optional. When enabled, Commandry sends a model-authored search query to DuckDuckGo and fetches selected public URLs. Commandry adds no account identifier, advertising identifier, or tracking parameter to those requests. DuckDuckGo and the operators of fetched websites handle the requests under their own privacy terms.
Diagnostics and payment events
Commandry writes operational diagnostics and subscription-funnel events to Apple unified logging on the device. These events exclude Apple Account details, payment information, deck contents, pairing tokens, prompts, and model responses. Commandry does not transmit these logs to a Commandry analytics service.
Website data
The public Commandry website does not use advertising trackers. The current beta-interest form does not send or store the entered email address. Do not enter an address there if you expect a confirmation message.
Your choices
Remove local app data by deleting Commandry and its Mac support files. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. You can also reset the Mac pairing from the Commandry agent.
